It's really damn interesting. I kinda wish I knew more about it though. I'm attracted to this more than the "traditional" ancient mythologies such as Greek and Roman. It just seems more, interesting.

Because you haven't been desensitized by a lifetime of it?

As for mythology, I agree with you. But for every other aspect, Rome is fucking insane, and what they were capable of still boggles my mind.

Oh yeah. I wasn't saying Rome as a whole I dislike, I just don't care much for their mythology. It's quite amazing what they were able to do. Same with the Middle East prior to the Crusades when the Europeans stole all that tech.

Roman Mythology is so boring!
"We were founded by brothers adopted by wolves!" OK, kinda cool.
"We'll go ahead and appropriate the mythologies of Greece and the Sabines!"
Laaaaaame. FFS one of Zeus's many names is "Zeu Pater", which sounds like Jupiter if you say it really fast. Come on, Rome. Get your stuff together.

I can appreciate Norse mythology. Where I'm from has quite a strong Norse viking connection and is reflected in the dialect.
Odin was always one I was fascinated by.

Ancient greek/ roman mythology is common, beat to death... Norse is much less common hence more interesting... perhaps.
